"Full ruby-red. Smoky dark berries, tobacco, mocha and roasted nuts on the nose; strong notes of torrefaction. Fairly dense but slightly hard-edged and clenched in the mouth, with black raspberry and tar flavors framed by firm acidity. Finishes with lingering dark berry flavors but also some drying tannins.
