A BIG hit at our November 9th, 2008 McLaren Vale Reds consumer tasting, we sold everything we had, save this one bottle.  Last one, get it while you can!

"This is a big, thick, unctuously-styled wine with plenty of black fruits intermixed with licorice, tar, pepper, and wood. It spent 18 months in a combination of new and old American oak. Full-bodied, with good structure, plenty of depth, and a chewy mouthfeel, it should be consumed over the next 5-6 years."  Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, June 2001.

"Full ruby-red. Smoky dark berries, tobacco, mocha and roasted nuts on the nose; strong notes of torrefaction. Fairly dense but slightly hard-edged and clenched in the mouth, with black raspberry and tar flavors framed by firm acidity. Finishes with lingering dark berry flavors but also some drying tannins. (Epicurean Wines, Seattle, WA) 88 points."
