Yalumba Galway Pipe Tawny Port NV --WS 92 pts 750ml
| Len Evans Aug 04 2000
A traditional famous old style which is 12-15 years old. It doesn't have excessive rancio character, it's very soft and appealing with a warm, cuddly nose. A light, delicious palate, good extension and acid. This really is a very good example of a pleasant commercial port without it being one of the great classic tawnys of Australia that have that lovely searing rancio character. A good wine.
