| "The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Foggo's Road emerges from a parcel of 75-year old vines, and was aged in both French and American oak. The saturated dense purple color is accompanied by aromas of chocolate, hickory, barbecue spices, and sweet toasty oak. Abundant quantities of black currant and plum-like fruit also jump from the glass. Thick, with chocolate/coffee-infused flavors, this naturally-textured, full-bodied, supple Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk now and over the next 10-12 years." Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, Feb. 2000.
